Filthy cluttered store. Erroneous hidden fees at purchase. Overpriced merchandise.
Have been dropping it here for over 20 years. Have purchased a few knives, bullet molds, reloading gear and I think one rifle. Prices are somewhat negotiable, but they vary depending on who is behind the counter when you are there. IME you get the fewest price breaks from Biff himself.
Very cluttered inside but had a lot of very odd and interesting stuff
Very packed store with large selection and variety of stuff but found alot of it is not for sale. Example they have over a dozen apple presses and none are for sale...
I called at 945am and asked about a magazine and they said it was instock. The would not give the price on a $10-20 magazine over the phone. I was ok with them not giving the prices and said I was coming in to look. I stopped by at 10:49am and saw a person behind the counter duck down out of my sight. Their hours on the door say they open at 11am. The employee never mentioned that he was there working and answering the phone before business hours. I even said I was coming in. So I called a second time and I said all I needed was a magazine. He wouldn't let me buy it. I am extremely mad. If he just has told me their hours when I called at 945am when I said I was coming in! I didn't have 11 extra minutes to waste for no reason to hand these people my money when there are plenty of other stores out there. It was a low blow to try and hide from a customer. Just yell that you're closed. I'm not an unreasonable person. Sometime I wonder why I try and support local business...
It’s an interesting place to look around, but don’t expect to find any real bargains on a gun.
