I highly recommend AAMCO Dixie hwy! The staff is very friendly and understanding. They go out of their way to help and work with you. I am a fairly new resident to Louisville, Ky so it was hard for me to find a trustworthy place to take my car but I can honestly say I have found that in AAMCO!

Honesty and transparency are absolutely essential to good service, and this place delivers on both. Thank you, especially to Eric, for the clear communication all the way through the process.

Great place to have your vehicle worked on. AAMCO reattached a hose on my car that another mechanic left lose. They didn't charge me. Eric is an absolute sweetheart.

A-A-M-C-O! This is the only place I take my Lincoln. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They strive to offer great service and I am always please with the work and level of professionalism. Would definitely recommend to any and everyone.

I did not have a pleasant experience taking my 2013 Chevrolet Equinox there. I made an appointment because my windows kept fogging up with the defrost on. On the phone, I told them I thought it was a problem with the heater core. Took the car in and was called later in the day that they could not find anything wrong and the defrost is working fine. I told them they NEEDED to drive the car and they would see the problem. Called later in the day, which seemed to annoy them, and was still told there was not a problem. I picked the car up after work and, within five minutes of leaving, the windows fogged up. Called them and brought the car back to show them and told them again I thought it was the heater core. The mechanic that worked on the car came out and looked at it. We explained the problem to him and asked him if he took drove the car to see if it did not work. He said he didn't, which meant they did not do what I asked them. Since it was a Friday, I left the car there and said it would looked at first thing Monday. On Monday, got a call in the afternoon and was told the heater core was bad and needed to be replaced, which I told them all along was the problem. I told them to replace it and it took almost another day and half for it to be done. When I complained about the delay, they told me that they had to put my car back in the queue because I technically took the car and brought it back. Essentially I was told I was at fault for taking my car after they failed to properly diagnose the problem even though I told them what they needed to do to diagnose it. After all of that, the management there did not offer any extra discount for the trouble they put me though. If you take you car here, definitely be sure to follow up and question everything they do. I will not bring my car back, except if the heater core breaks down while it is covered by warranty.
